Гугл Pixel 8
If there was any doubt that the Гугл Pixel 8a will hit the market soon, a new leaked video should put that to rest as it gives a clear look at the phone next to its retail box.
The video, posted on X by user @MysteryLupin (via Андройд Police), shows off the back of the Pixel 8a in green and blue shades (rumored to be called Mint and Bay, respectively).
The design is consistent with previous leaks, with dual cameras on Гугл’s now-iconic camera panel, a colorful back, and an overall design similar to the Pixel 8. They also briefly flip the phone forward, but unfortunately it has a case on it, so we can’t see the screen .
What we do see is the retail box, which unsurprisingly contains a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-A to USB-C adapter, and a SIM eject tool. Finally, the text in the video states that the phone has 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM – although there could be other configurations, and indeed we previously heard that there could be a Pixel 8a with 256GB of storage.
That’s all there is to really see here, and while we’d take this video with a grain of salt, it definitely looks like the real thing.
The fact that a video showing retail sales of Pixel 8a devices has been leaked online also suggests that the phone will be launched very soon, which is in line with what we have heard. Our best guess based on leaks and past form is that it will arrive during Гугл I/O 2024, which starts on May 14th, so the wait is only a few weeks away.
